Kapakapanui
Oil on canvas, 33/55 cm, 2024
Kapakapanui is an isolated peak rising to 1,102 meters. Located in New Zealand, it offers one of the most stunning views of the Tararua Range.
The hike is steep, and the trail can be rugged and muddy, with the forest still bearing scars from the devastating cyclone of 1936.
Despite the difficulty, it was one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever done.
